Phew! Its the 1st February and my Dry January is over. Its not been without its challenges - mainly due to some stressful times during the month, but it was worth it. Thanks to all my lovely family and friends who donated - I'm chuffed to have exceeded the modest target I set myself. I know that times are tough indeed, so I'm doubly pleased to have raised this money which I hope will help in a small way towards finding a cure, or at least helping in the fight against ovarian cancer. But now, I'm off to pour myself a large glass of red! Thanks again for your help Karen xx

I can see then end of January almost in sight! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far - I know Mam would be pleased and chuffed - she also did her bit to raise money and awareness before she died, so I hope I'm doing her proud. I still miss her every day, miss her when I see something funny, or something annoying and I just want to talk to her about it at the end of the day. She was unique and irreplaceable - as all Mum's are of course. And come the 1st February I will be raising a large glass of something and toasting Mam and everyone who has donated and encouraged!
